Fort Hays
Here is the core of the letter
from Mitch Bowman, Executive Director of Virginia Civil War Trails to
the Friends of the Petersburg Battlefield in reference to the Fort Hays
project.
"We have received $2,600 from the Col. James D. Brady Camp, 63
SUVCW and will now be able to complete the Fort Hays interpretive marker
on Flank Road."
Because of that good news and circumstance ,TWBTS voted to have the
Friends of the Petersburg Battlefield donate the $1,010. collected to
Virginia Civil War Trails Organization for their best use.
